Sweden Couples attend BYU Young Ambassadors! Deja vu!

                  Former Sweden missionary, Garrett Breeze (show band and arranger), and performer, Cousin Delayne Westfall, join us with the Rosevears and Pearsons after a flawless performance of "Harmony" by the BYU Young Ambassadors on Friday night, 12 November. We enjoyed a very nice dinner at Golden Corral and visit to Linda and Steve Wright before the show. Another perfect evening with our Sweden Couples!

Three Sweden Mission Reunions this Fall!

 President Larry and Sister Sally Anderson came from Richland, WA to be with us at our luncheon. It was so good to see them back after their 3-yr service.

 Our Maddox luncheon on September 29th was superb. The Sweden Mission couples came without hesitation. It was really great.

 Ron & Jee Tomyn were at the Karlsson/Anderson reunion. Elder Tomyn was an AP when we left and moved into our apartment until the Lundquists could come.

 Steven enjoyed being with the Fletcher Group in Mill Creek in the evening of September 29th. He even took his Cousin Brad Johnson, who also served in Sweden with him.

We were so glad to see Johnathan Espinozo at the Sweden Stockholm Mission Reunion on September 30th. He was one of our Office Elders who took over when we left Sweden.

Box Elder County Fair & Rodeo

Fun times with our Sweden sister missionary, Sierra Williams, and her husband, Liam Fischback, from Alaska. They are at Utah State University and paid a visit to our local rodeo and fair. We love keeping in touch with the people from our Sweden mission.

President and Sister Anderson are home from Sweden!

We stayed in Cascade, Idaho at the Ashley Inn. Beautiful place! Another perfect trip.

The State Flower of Idaho, syringa, was blooming profusely in the mountains and by the rivers. Very fragrant and beautiful.

Varr and Bernice Nelson were our traveling companions. We drove the trip in their new Caravan and watched movies along the way.

Sally and Larry Anderson are happy to be at their home in Richland. Their backyard even has a nice little waterfall.

Sisters Sally Anderson, Linda Wright, Amy Johnson and Bernice Nelson wanted an "all girls" photo to put with our collections.

July 24th, 2011 was the special homecoming fireside for the Andersons. We helped provide the Swedish atmosphere by singing "Blott en dag" as an 8-member chorus. We thought we sounded great. Our Swedish came back in a hurry after we practiced a few times. The stake center was filled with about 350 people. Good attendance!

St. George visit

The Salt Lake Choral Artists presented Hope, Faith, Life, Love... in the St. George Tabernacle on 10 June 2011. We met Vicky and Rex Lewis there and enjoyed the talent of former Sweden Missionary Jessee Goates as she sang with the group of Salt Lake Concert Choirs, directed by Dr. Brady R. Allred. She is so talented!!

Annual Barn Dance at Johnsonfarm in Honeyville

Line dancing was a favorite of young and old. The music kept us going!

Potluck mania. The food was so yummy! You had to get in line fast.

Sweden Mission couples plus Sister Bente Karlsson. Daniels, Johnsons, Jepsons, Thunells, Tolboes, Nelsons and Rosevears stayed long enough to have a group photo.

Pippi Lonestocking was the main horse attraction. Our pure bred quarter horse filly is a month old and such a beauty.

The Pearsons brought the Watts for a good-bye as they prepare to depart to the Nauvoo Mission serving in the visitor's center and accompanying for the pageant productions. They are great examples to us all!

Two days at the BYU Women's Conference= GREAT!

Linda Wright saved us a seat at the entertainment night. We loved the Vocal Point, Kerby Heybourne, Jenny Oaks Baker, Josh Wright, Hillary Weeks, and others.

Seeing Kinnison Edmunds just by chance in the Wilkinson Center made our day. He is the same cut-up with his silly face photos! haha

Sunshine on BYU campus was a treat. Even the blossoms on the trees were inviting. Our feet took a beating, however, to make it to one class after another. We finally gave up and did humanitarian projects and listened to the piped in speakers. It was great! Thanks to Steven's brother, Bryan (Debbie), we had a nice place to stay!

Daniels reported their mission in January 2011. They arrived home in September, but with so many health concerns, waited to speak in church.

Sister Anne Swenson came home and the Wrights joined us in Logan for her homecoming.

We stepped out on the back deck for a photo after we had lunch with Rex and Vicky Lewis from St. George. They were the Public Relations couple for the Scandinavian countries and were based in Stockholm, Sweden with us. We love seeing our couples!
