22 November 2009 Sunday gathering

Our missionary plaque was presented to us in sacrament meeting by our son, Erik, who is a counselor in the bishopric. It will hang in our home as a wonderful reminder of our mission together at the Sweden Stockholm Mission Office--May 2008 to November 2009.
Daughter, Raquel Fuller and Brandy Johnson (holding youngest grandchild, Zackary) look on while Amber (granddaughter) gives Gina Johnson a massage.

Nephew Brett Johnson and Greg Roper are happy to be here, too.

The grandchildren were beginning to make pillow and blanket huts in the basement. We are definitely back home!

Steven tells stories at the table with inlaws, David Dickey, Jon Fuller and Don Fuller enjoying the visit.

Brian, Brad & Anne Beck, Lynette Dickey at least have a place to sit in our small home with the crowd that came.

Our son, Erik, and daughter, Becky, pause for a photo with Ty Roper and Nate and Jamie Smith.

Three sons, Monte, Nate and Jeremy with grandson, Braden Fuller are all smiles for us.

Mom Reba Johnson made the effort to be in attendance despite her frail health. We love Rosemary and Sheryl for making it possible for her to come.

Our dear friends from the Mission and family and Ward members came to hear us speak in the Honeyville 1st Ward. The missionary couples (Pearson, Thunnel, Watts, Hanson) and Russell Spjut came to see us. Family members in attendance were Steven's mother, Reba Johnson, Marilyn & Darrell Beck (Bryan & Kimberly, Brad & Anne), Brent & Marilyn Johnson (Maja), Sheryl Roper Hodges (Greg & Ty Roper, Jami & Nate Smith and children), Rosemary & Clair (3 grandchildren), Lynette & Dave Dickey, Bryan Johnson (Brett), and our own children, Erik & Julie, Raquel & Don, Monte & Lisa, Becky & Jon, Jeremy & Brandy, Nate & Gina and ALL of the 18 grandchildren. We were also pleased to have with us Patriarch Uncle Rene and Aunt Pearl Johnson, former couple missionaries in the Sweden Stockholm Mission in the 1980's. Cousins Brad (former 1960's Swedish missionary) & Ilene Johnson from Willard and Susan & Richard Bowen from Perry were also in attendance. It was a grand reunion.

Amy, I'm glad you posted this and wish Bruce and I could have come. You had a wonderful day and I'm sure a wonderful mission. I love your family. Maybe we can get together sometime.
